ASME SA213 This specification covers seamless ferritic and austenitic steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes, designated Grades T5, TP304, TP316L, etc.
ASTM A213 TP316L is a low carbon variant of grade 316 stainless steel. TP316L stainless steel has a low carbon content and therefore has excellent corrosion resistance. It resists corrosion in a variety of environments, including harsh chemicals and chlorine-containing solutions.
In addition, TP316L can withstand high temperatures and is suitable for applications involving high temperatures such as heat exchangers, boilers and refineries. Besides, it has excellent durability and service life, enabling the pipe to withstand harsh conditions and be less susceptible to degradation over time.
